Knotty Knitter Group/Stitches West 2008

Leesa one of the gals from my knitting group took some pictures at Stitches West and just sent them to me to post and one is of me the monday after Our Group trip to Stitches West coming out of surgery as Leesa was the one to pick me up from the surgery center so my hubby could stay home with the little ones.The pictures are of I and Leesa and Melodie and Jeanine going to the Stitches West 2008 Convention we had alot of fun.I met and got pictures with Cookie A and Jess of Ravelry and Leesa got her picture taken with Vickie Howell to.We got up that friday feb 22nd to leave at 4am since it was a 5.5 hour drive and drove straight to the Convention so my hair was a mess.lol we spent Friday doing the passport game and Saturday shopping.Monday feb 25th I went in for Deviated Septum surgery then 2 days later the ambulance ride.At least I had alot of fun before all the health stuff hit the fan;)

A Surprise Pkg From Carol;)

Carol a friend of mine was going to a sock class taught by Cookie A and took my Cookie A pattern with her to get it signed she even got Cookie A to personalize it how sweet then she sent it to me with more surprises a skein of Jitterbug sock yarn she bought while there and an abicus bracelet and sock needle hugger stitch markers she knows I love green so there was alot of yummy greens in the gifts I was fighting back tears such a surprise package speechless.I went to the opening of The Yarn Palette after getting the package in the mail today and there was Carol so I gave her a big hug and thanked her for the package of goodies what a lovely day;)
