Getting Ready For Christmas/Christmas Morning

Well the girls are very wired none of them want to go to bed.lol here is a picture of the girls cuddling and one of our small tree and our gifts from the jolly fellow himself he always hits our house first the desert is his favorite stop.lol seriously no not really rofl.Iam having a nice glass of white zinfandel and a bag of cheetos as crazy aunt purl says they go good together;)And I know you all want to see my new haircut and color from the front so here it is.There is a picture from Christmas morning of the Christmas goodies I received Lizet and my Hubby are awesome can you say yarn and mp3 player;)

"Crazy Aunt Purl" Book Signing in Santa Monica at Compatto

Jeanine and I hit the road today for Laurie Perry aka Crazy Aunt Purl Book Signing a wonderful book The true-life Misadventures of a 30 something who learned to knit after he split.Laurie was a sweet friendly Southern Gal she read from her book and answered questions and even took a picture with me and one with Jeanine who was beaming:) and Laurie even gave me a hug. I hope I win the contest on her blog so I can hang out with her again:)Jeanine is in my knotty knitter group and is so much fun we had a fantastic time she also is the first recipient of the play it forward exchange.I cant wait to hang out with Jeanine again I love road trips dont you;)

I bought Crazy Aunt Purls Book and got it signed and Bought some Yummy Cascade Yarn:)Which Laurie said would be great as a Giant Pom Pom Scarf the pattern is in the back of her book;) and check it out Ellen Bloom
was there for the book signing and I got to check out her cabled fingerless gloves in a yummy fall colorway:)and I just had to take a picture of Myra Wood (glasses) and Ellene Warren both designers!!!
their freeform sweaters were awesome!!!I had a great time today wish you all could have been there;)
