My Husband My Hero:)

Feb 25th I had surgery for a Deviated Septum, they sent me home to recover with medication. Two days after surgery I went up to take a nap and had taken my medication. My husband went up to check on me and found me with glazed eyes, shaking, and white with purple lips in the bathroom and saying help me. He dragged me to the bed, I was unable to walk and was unresponsive, and he called the doctor. My breathing went shallow then I stopped breathing. Tom called 911 and the EMT's came and wrapped me up in our bed sheet and carried me down stairs to work on me. I was given something to cancel out the medication the doctor had given me and my hubby said in 15 seconds I sat up and asked who are you, and what are you doing here? I was surrounded by 11 men wrapped up in a bloody sheet and scared. They were yelling wake up Darcy and rushing me into the ambulance. I was cold and confused as the last thing I remembered was going upstairs to take a nap.On the ride to the Hospitol all I kept thinking was I didnt want to die I wanted to live. When I had stopped breathing I had asperated blood into both my lungs causing pnemonia.I was admitted into the hospitol I was there for 7 days. I am finally home and now I am cuddling my baby's and resting. Thursday they will need to suction out my nose and take the splint out of my left nostril. I am grateful to be alive and grateful to my husband for his quick actions and the EMT's for theirs. I also want to thank the people who helped us during this stressful and scary time.
