I never thought I would be able to work with lace weight yarn or do lace knitting it just looked to difficult.I researched on Ravelry lace patterns and found the Easy Flame Lace Scarf I was told this would be a good first time lace project.I bought Lace Malabrigo in Geranio lovely colorway pictures dont do it justice and now Iam almost done with my 7th repeat of the pattern and I think I have a whole foot now.lol lace weight yarn is tiny and so it takes a long time to see progress.Iam proud of myself for stepping outside my comfort zone to try lace:)

It looks awesome and the color is just what I would wear too (even if I'm a Slytherin and should prefer green over red LOL)
That is so pretty! I'm hoping to do a laceweight shawl or scarf project this summer. I just have to find the right one. But I'll definitely take a closer look at that scarf pattern and see if it looks like I could handle it! I love the color, too.
