How about a mini-clapotis with the wollemeise?
I used STR for mine, and it came out great! Of course, I did a full size one (which is really long and pretty wide actually), and I barely used the full 700 yds of yarn. You should be able to make a gorgeous narrow and maybe a bit shorter Clapotis out of one skein of sock yarn! I'd go down a needle size or two though. :D
Oh, and I really love that lipstick lava dream in color. What a great color. How about you make yourself a killer pair of fingerless mitts with that stuff?

I second the Clapotis suggestion for the Wollmeise Darcy!! I've seen quite a few and they are gorgeous!! Plus you can't beat the yardage!
