~Recovering At Home~

I made it threw surgery and am home now but cannot sleep afraid I will open my incision or yank out my catheter.
I woke up in the recovery room on oxygen my blood pressure dropped dangerously low and they were very concerned but as the anesthesia wore off I was breathing normally again.Iam sore and having to be careful but happy to be home.
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes:)Hubby is taking good care of me.
Our daughter Alora has had a fever and has a harsh cough since I cant sleep I have been checking on her frequently.
The commander's wife dropped off a wonderful meal for Tom and the girls homemade meatballs, spaghetti, and garlic loaf hubby was pleased and took a picture to show you;)
Someone will be dropping off meals threw Thursday and we are very touched and appreciative of everyones help.
I could only have soup and crackers doctor's orders but tomorrow I get to eat more solid foods.
Iam not aloud to do anything strenuous for 4-6 weeks so knitting it is:)((((Hugs)))) Darcy

Being a blogging slacker, I wasn't aware of your recent surgery, at least when I found out the worse was over with [hopefully] and you are on the road to recovery. Prayers and positive healing thoughts sent your way, hugs.. Nan

Oh I am thrilled it is in the PAST.. Take it easy now, you are strong and your body will be recovering with positive thoughts. I was a mess with a catheter at home so I do sympathize. But it didnt help to get anxious. It made it worse.

Many prayers continue for you Darcy!

Just wanted you to know I have been thinking about you. Take advantage of those 4-6 weeks of rest. Don't be like me and try to do too much and then wish you had taken it easier. (((hugs)))
