My hubby let me go to New York for a birthday gift I flew into Laguardia taking my cable needle necklace, knitting needles,tapestry needle, and knit kit with no problems from the security check points:)
I even had a madori while I was waiting to board the plane yum.I had to take a picture of my very first taxi ride.
Here are some of the first pictures of my arrival in NY visiting Sandra and her hubby and sweet dog Toffee.
We went to the Statue of Liberty the first day so I got my first subway exsperience taking the Metro to Battery Park then my first ferry ride out to the Statue of Liberty I will be posting more about my trip daily it was an amazing adventure that I will never forget:)

Oh Darcy, what a great trip. New York City is such an adventure. I am glad you liked it. I was recently in NYC myself. I wish I could have gone to Rhinebeck. Who knows maybe we can meet there one of these years.
