Iam doing a Kal with my knotty friends.I have dropped 17 stitches as I added 4extra repeats to the straight rows.Iam doing the decrease rows now which means I will be dropping a stitch on both ends of row 8 on every repeat Iam getting closer to being done and as you can see from the pictures my clapotis is getting pretty big:)Iam on my 7th skein of noro silk garden in color #84 back to knitting.
If not for my health issues I know this Clapotis would have been done already but as it is Iam halfway done. Iam using Noro Silk Garden I have used 4 skeins so far and have 4 left to use.I have dropped 10 stitches so far.Since Iam not feeling well it is hard to concentrate on anything but I made myself sit down to knit on it today.I love the Clapotis it looks hard but if you use the spreadsheet under my library on the right hand side of my blog it is a mindless knit:)
When we first learn to knit we are told be careful not to drop a stitch this is the horror moment when you realize you have a problem.lol well Iam knitting the Clapotis. free pattern Knitty.com and you are suppose to drop stitches. The first time you purposely drop a stitch is total trama then you realize your work is okay and keep going now Iam no longer tramatized and actually enjoying dropping stitches;)
