Santa Monica Fiber Festival 1st knotty Knitter Road Trip;)

I took 2 travel pillows and a camping fold up chair which Mindy and her Daughter Hannah and Jo took turns carrying incase I needed to sit down since it has been just 3 weeks since my surgeries we had such a good time and all spent to much money on yarn and knitting stuff;) Mindy tried out spinning wheels and Hannah fell in love with the Angora Bunnies and I got to pet a chinchilla and Jo bought 7 skeins of prism ribbon yarn to make a sweater and got a great deal on it and I got sparkly yarns for making scarves a glass button to put on a felted bag knitting magnet and ornament and a red/white/blue ornament and notions and a yarn meditation cd with music to listen to while I knit that has keyboard harp and flute in it. also posting pictures click on pictures to see a closer up pic of details.Mindy bought yummy speckled fiber to make into yarn.What a fun Day!!

Jo Goes The Extra Mile;)

She bought me 50 grams of Cherry Tree Hill Glitz in Peacock colorway 99% fingering weight Alpaca 1% Glitter skein of yarn because she knows I love sparkles;) and I want to knit a tie for Dr. Copeland who did my surgeries in his favorite color and so Jo went to Simply Knittings 50% off Sale and picked up for me 3 skeins of grey sports weight Jawoll superwash Lang Yarns so I can knit the tie as Iam not suppose to travel and this yarn shop is 1.5 hours away she has done this for me before she is amazing and so thoughtful;)The Doctor picked out the Mary Jane Mucklestone pattern for his tie so while Iam on bedrest I will knit him a tie.Thankyou Jo your the best!!!

Sock Project Bags I Just Got In The Mail;)

Things are a bit tight right now and I saw this halloween themed bag and my birthday is late October and as a little girl I and my twin sister always asked for the same cake chocolate with chocolate frosting and halloween candy pumpkins and candy corns etc... also Iam into doing skull and crossbones intarsia and my husbands squadron is the desert pirates the patch he wears for his squadron is a skull and crossbones so I really wanted this knitting bag and so I was able to do a trade yarn for the bag and another bag for my friend Lizet in the uk she wanted the castle one so I did a trade because yarn is something I have.lol I cant wait for Lizet to get her sock project bag.I will post a picture of my toddler wearing a dress Lizet made her she has sewn and knit many things for us she is a sweetheart(((HUGS))you will notice behind my daughter is her potty chair I havent been able to knit lately we are potty training or as I like to call it were in the potty training zone.lol

Iam making socks for me and using Northern Lights Cherry Tree Hill Glitz and Iam ready to start on the heel it is fun being able to try the sock on as I go;)
