The Treasured Bums Surprise Pkg!!!

Today I received a pkg from Laurie back home in Idaho couldnt figure out why until I opened it and found cards from friends off my old cloth diapering and knitting board:) there was get well cards from Heidi, Laurie,Erika,Sarah Wathan,.Heidi gave me a little gift bag with knit picks yummy sock yarn in ras/burgundy and mocha brown colors mmmmm...Sarah gave me a knitting magazine Creative Knitting and Laurie gave me a cute coffee cup with 3 pkgs of different kinds of chocolate coffees.Erika gave me this book called A Short Guide To A Happy Life by Anna Quindlen.Iam so touched that they did this as I know they have been busy with a lot of blessing showers.You all touched my heart with your thoughts and cards and gifts and support.Huggers Valleybums!!!

Jo Goes The Extra Mile;)

She bought me 50 grams of Cherry Tree Hill Glitz in Peacock colorway 99% fingering weight Alpaca 1% Glitter skein of yarn because she knows I love sparkles;) and I want to knit a tie for Dr. Copeland who did my surgeries in his favorite color and so Jo went to Simply Knittings 50% off Sale and picked up for me 3 skeins of grey sports weight Jawoll superwash Lang Yarns so I can knit the tie as Iam not suppose to travel and this yarn shop is 1.5 hours away she has done this for me before she is amazing and so thoughtful;)The Doctor picked out the Mary Jane Mucklestone pattern for his tie so while Iam on bedrest I will knit him a tie.Thankyou Jo your the best!!!

One Of A Kind Yarn;)

Iam recuperating and today was a very painfilled day plus hot and cold chills.My friend Ann invited my 16 yr old Daughter Mercedes over to give her a lesson on her spinning wheel she made some yarn and gave it to me she said she wanted me to have it.This is a really sweet thing she isnt one to make things for people. She likes doing things with you and when she was little she would make me pictures or as she got older pottery 2 things I lovingly keep in my china hutch including a sand dollar that is perfect that she found on a beach years ago and said mom I want you to have it.So Iam choked up with emotion over this and it made me think of the pictures we did just her and me we had taken at walmart the weekend before I went to the hospitol I was in alot of pain but really wanted mother Daughter pictures and she wanted to do one where she kissed me on the cheek and she insisted we get a 5x7 of it for her.There were so many that turned out great we only had to iliminate 2 which surprised me that I could look peaceful when I was uncomfortable in my own skin that day so between the wonderful pictures and the yarn she spun for me Iam so deeply moved.I Love You My biggest Girl ((Hugs Mercedes)))Love Mom

Gifts I received from my knitting group;)

I really was blown away when I came home from the hospitol and Ann says Darcy you have gifts and I had to wait to look at them I dont know exactly who gave me what but I love everything it is so special because they all came from my knitting group.While Dolores has been on bedrest she crochet me the pillow with yellow roses it is lovely:)

Soaker Lizet Made Alora

My Best Friend in the UK dyed and knit a soaker to go over my Daughters Cloth Diapers and it is so beautiful and Lizet is so sweet:)And the next picture is of Lizets Daughter Dorrit wearing the purse I knit her she is so cute!!

AMAZING PKG FROM MY FRIEND LIZET IN THE UK

My friend Lizet in the uk knit a bunny for my daughters 1st b-day and knit up a soaker for her and longies for my other daughter out of yarn I had dyed myself and surprised me with some sock yarn she dyed in my favorite colors she calls starry night after my favorite painting and surprised me with chocolates and chocolate coffee and some needles I need and I had sent her knitting themed material with which she made us both one project knitting bags.What a neat surprise she is such a good friend;)
