~*Vickie Howell's Baby Arrives*~

I knew Vickie was due around The 28th of May so I have been working on a newborn set to send to her for the baby.
Clover Sophia Campbell came into the world at 2:31pm on May 28th 2009 and they are now home with their new baby girl which they say is their own little piece of pixie dust:) Last night I wove in the ends on my wee projects and plan to send them off to Vickie on Monday so today I will shop for really cute gift wrap paper:)
I'm also going to be knitting up some more baby goodies for Clover Sophia but wanted to get the newborn stuff out quickly.Congratulations Vickie, and Dave, Tanner, and Tristan:)

~*My Sheep Yarn Bowl Arrived*~

I was lucky enough to snag one Tuesday when Brittany put one in her shop.
I had trouble with the check out and she called me and took my information over the phone.
Good customer service and she shipped quickly,I purchased it on May 26th and it came today:)
I immediately put my sheep bowl to use knitting the second chenille washcloth for Vickie Howell's baby girl.
The pattern is easy and you get 2 wash clothes out of one ball.
The Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille is so soft here is a link to the pattern.
I love sheep and this yarn bowl is adorable as well as keeps my ball of chenille in place no rolling onto the floor where precious our cat can get it.lol

~In Memory Of My Mother And Stepfather~

I thought yesterday was hard it would have been my mother’s 64th birthday but today was even harder I found out my step dad who raised me passed away he was battling stomach cancer so I know he is finally not hurting but I miss him.
The last time we were all together was at our wedding over 5 years ago.
Mom passed away 2 months after the wedding so she never got to see my 2 youngest children.
I was looking at our wedding photos tonight my husband is tdy and I felt so alone.
Our wedding day was so special because daddy Jim gave me away and mom was there and they hadn't been together since I was 10 years old and they looked so happy and the day felt more special because of it.
