May 4th Knotty Knitter Gathering At Starbucks






Carol brought a friend today Little Loopy a cutie from Loopy Ewe.Little Loopy visited with everyone then sat on my shoulder to whisper into my ear;)Little Loopy wound down by taking a nap in my Clapotis on the arm of my chair.I just have to show you a picture of Carol wearing a shirt I just love you just need to click on the picture and it will make it big enough to read you must read the saying on it she bought it from Cafe Press and it is to funny:)Robin helped me cast-on my fetching gloves 2 at a time on magic loop in Silky Malabrigo in a lovely lilac colorway and I was tinkering with some Maple Sugar Cherry Tree Hill Super Glitz Socks toe up 2 on one needle socks.We took alot of pictures so there is another post below this one.Carol was making everyone laugh and our newest member Dawn is an absolute delight to knit with and Jackie is tackling the Easy Flame Scarf.Jackie is going to make a chart for the Easy Flame Scarf as we are planning a KAL.As always we had a great time:)

Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl Is Done;)





Today is my hubby's Birthday he helped me block my shawl before he left to buy a game and a starbucks and to just have a whole day for himself:)You can click on the pictures to see the shawl up close.I was able to get 12 repeats of the body of the shawl with the 440 yrds/200g of Alpaca/merino that Lizet dyed for me for Christmas with only 1 ounce left over.The shawl is 68 inches across the wingspan and 28 inches down the center back.My first lace shawl Iam stoked cant wait for it to finish blocking so I can wear it.Iam going to wear it to Stitches West the end of this month.I will show it off at the Knotty knitter Gathering Tomorrow Woo Hoo a FO!!!

End Of The Magic Ball And Last 2 Presents Reveiled:)



Lizet wrapped first skein around the gifts and left the second skein in a cake to use when done knitting up the magic ball so I have 187 stitches 93 rows done and just connected the new skein to the shawl to knit with it and have uncovered the last 2 gifts that were tucked inside the magic ball some hearts bath confetti and a bar of goats milk soap from Faith Acre Farmgoods called watermelon picnic smells so good cant describe how good it smells;)and this beautiful hankerchief.Thankyou Lizet it was fun and I couldnt knit it up fast enough thinking about the presents that were inside:)

Magic Ball 2 More Presents Revealed:)




I have now 155 stitches on my needles and have knitted 78 rows of my Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl my magic ball looks rather diminished now I have uncovered a lovely rose scented soap by crabtree & evelynn called rose water which made my yarn smell so good and I have uncovered a little collectible really cute little girl plaque;)
